I was watching an interview with Notre Dame Head Coach Jim McLaughlin and decided to check out ND's site and I saw this.

Solid player and setter from the few matches I saw the last couple of years. Just speculating but my gut says it is a primarily academic move, but she is also moving up to the ACC. It also helps that McLaughlin is an NCAA champion HC on the women's and men's side.
