I watch a lot of basketball for West Coast youth since I blog during the club season. I will say Loyola plays very selfish. I have noticed this but it's been working for them until now as it is finally starting to show. It reminds me of several teams during the summer that go one on one. Rambler ball is best when the extra pass is made. This was a very selfish game played by Loyola. I want to see this team do well but I don't expect much difference if this is the game plan. I believe the sharing of the ball starts with the Coach. I know you Loyola fans LOVE Moser BUT is starts with the Coach. The Coach has to see the one pass and shoot or the one pass and drive with your head down and hope for a bail out or the no pass and dribble all the way up the court regardless if team mates are running the floor. I guess I just expect more out of Chicago ball. (sorry for all the run on's)
I just wanted to share a little of my take since I don't have a horse in the race.
I haven't gotten that impression of this team at all this year. I've watched a team pass and move the ball very well. The defense (or lack thereof) is what did them in tonight.
