Damnit. Custer early foul trouble really hurt us.

We had a chance, had some great looks late, but the shots just didn't fall. But we had our chances. On the road, that's all you can really ask for.

Is it just me or does Milton always try to be the hero at the end of games? I can understand he is the majority of the points but TEAM ball wins games. This team seems to be uncoachable at the end. The green light should turn yellow at the end of the game. I would love to see a couple of passes before just putting their head down and throwing up a prayer. Not sure if its poor basketball IQ or the game plan. It seems to happen a lot.

Down 19 and get it to 4. Plenty of fight in this team.

Cut down on the turnovers and we can win. Also hurt that they shot really, really well. When they come to the Joe, it will be a very winnable game.

I have little problem with him driving late trying to get to the line. When you're down by multiple possessions with 2 or so minutes left, you try to get as many points as you can as quick as you can. Aren't you the same person who posted before about how you think this team is a "selfish" team? You couldn't be more wrong.

Decent game on the road--But a loss none the less. Our team is a good one for sure ! We just must keep fighting--We get them at home Anf qith an even shake from the refs we can a just might defeat them--BUT Bears are next up !!

Am proud of the RAMBLERS !!

Goodness. I think if that corner 3 from Donte fell (what a pass and play btw, he was WIDE open) we could pulled that one out in the end... What fight. I'm telling you if we have that effort every game we can beat anyone... Glad we got the Sunday tip this week gives some extra rest at home for what should be another battle with Missouri State.

Honestly I wasn't crazy impressed with Wichita; but I also set a very high standard for them. They're certainly VERY good and probably tourney worthy... But at home and with the way they were shooting and converting early I really don't know if the old Shock teams would have let us back in. I think ISU may take them this weekend.

One thing that should be taken away from this game - as long as everyone stays healthy, don't give up on this team... even if we hit some rough patches during the rest of conference play. Regardless of whether we finish third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh at the end of the season, if all these guys are able to take the court in st. Louis, we Will only be a few winnable games from an NCAA bid. They can do it. It's an ACTUAL POSSIBILITY for this team we have now.

Checking the stats. We won on the boards. 35-30. Also Shockernet is complaining about officiating which is something pretty amazing considering they shot 29 freebies to our 22.

That's their prerogative, but there were some terrible calls against us late. The one against Donte comes to mind. He had possession of the ball after fighting for the rebound, and they call him for the reach in foul. Was terrible, but that's what you get on the road. That would've been big, but we still had our chances.
