Our double teams with these picks are hurting bad. Along with lack of rebounding. Nothing is falling.ahunte1 wrote:We are completely lost on defense. Giving up position inside over and over.

This has been really disappointing. The defense has been poor and we can't buy a basket.

Hard to watch right now. They're scoring at will and we keep taking contested shots.

We're shooting 26%. They're shooting 60%

We just need to get a little scoring run going to slow these guys down a bit.

NM isn't exactly blowing the roof off of the place with...they've only got 38 points on 60% shooting. Problem is we're playing sloppy, a lot of dumb passes, and can't hit anything. More disappointed by our performance than impressed by theirs.
Re: New Mexico Preview and Game Thread-- 11/18/2015
pressure on the perimeter was a mistake against team with bigs who can catch. I thought this was a tactic we would try to use to shorten the shot clock even more but new mexico is working it well. The bottom line is they are just better tonight so far.

I thought altitude would show up in physical conditioning, but to me it looks like it's affecting how the ball travels on shots. Not to make excuses, because we have other problems in this game, but supposedly the ball travels between 3% and 7% further at 5000 feet.
