I liked it in the NIT.

It's going to be funny if our "new floor" is exactly the same as the old one, except with a deeper three point line.

I think every shot past half court should count for six points. We can have Kaifes shoot from there all night.
Let's go Braden!

I heard a rumor the new floor is from the 1992 Rock N Jock game, with the 10 point shot. Have not been able to confirm if that’s true.

The new court design is huge for marketing. It is seen on the local news and national TV (ESPN, etc.). I am hoping for a traditional design with the script Loyola logo somewhere. The prior center court logo looked terrible and I am told the university mandated that logo as opposed to the athletic logo. Hope to see a photo soon.

I'm wondering if we'll get an update on the floor soon. I have no idea how long it takes to complete a job like that, but I would assume they've got to get it done relatively fast so they can use that area.

I hope we get to see soon what they came up with, and I'm praying to god they didn't do anything like UIC did. That was a prime example of trying to do something different, and having it completely backfire on you. It very well might look good in-person, but on television, the game we played against him there was extremely hard to watch. It must be very hard to white-balance the tv cameras or something.

I keep seeing advertisements for the basketball camp that begins in about 10 days, so I would think it has to be finished by then.

And I agree about uIc’s floor. I almost had to turn the game off last year.

I think this benefits us. The extra distance shouldn't be a problem for our top shooters/style of play.

Since this appears to be where new floor discussion goes, appears worst fears about being like UIC seem to have been avoided.

Guessing it isn't completely finished yet, but the script Loyola in the middle does look very nice.
