Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory. Uguak should NOT have been on the court there--can't make free throws. Can't do much, really. And then no defense at all as they drive right down the court.
I get we are young. I get there will be growing pains. But this type of loss is completely unacceptable. Benching one of our best offensive players an entire half to teach him a lesson just isn't smart.
I don't think having him out there was ridiculous at all. Take out Bruno and Frank being 2-2 each, Aher has been the 3rd best FT shooter on the team this year thus far.
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/stats/_/id/2350/table/game/sort/freeThrowPct/dir/descStand corrected on Aher's FT shooting. Still not sure if he is a great option to have out there, especially in the last 4 or 5 minutes when our offense went completely stagnant. But I guess with Clemons still out and Marquise in the dog house, not many options for a productive offensive lineup.
When things settle and return to normal, I think our best offensive rotation will be Clemons-Marquise-Lucas-Hall-Krut. I do like Aher and Paxon on defense though. Also liked seeing Welch used as more of a 4 today with Krut/Frank playing. Still not sure where Pipkins fits in.
